Right. But as always, you read into the passage _that which is not
there_ . Is belief the result of what man does, or what God does in
man? You always _assume_ the former; Scripture always affirms the
latter.

And it was very unattractive bait, too! Not the bait we were commanded to use at
all!

Besides: haven't you missed the point AGAIN? you are asking me to prove that
this is not the bait Christ commanded us to use, but you are far from proving
that it IS the bait to use. Practice what you preach, stop throwing dust in our
eyes with these double-standards.

Again, a bait more sure to repulse than attract. For I have already
shown you from the writings of Ignatius, Irenaeus and Athenagoras that
yes, there _was_ Trinity among CHristians writers before the 3rd
century.
