Scripture already does that - after all, it is the measuring stick.
What we object to is the statement that dogma may *only* be derived
from Scripture. Nothing of what we teach contradicts the Scriptures.
Fundamentally, the Scriptures must be read in context - and that context
is the witness of the church.

That's up to God, not to me. Orthodoxy does not teach that God sends
the non-orthodox to hell. Orthodoxy is the *fullness* of the faith,
but that does not mean that there is not truth elsewhere - though it
may be darker shadows of the truth...
