They both believe Mom died for them and rose again.

You seem to have answered it. Becasue their notion of Jesus doesn't
match your notion of Jesus -- even though we agree that He died for our
sins and rose again -- you claim that they don't know Mom, and are
therefore unsaved.

First, I told my Sunday School class what I was doing up front. I did
it to introduce them to some of the different ways others see
