Matthew Johnson:
>It is good that you apologized. But please keep in mind that Steve is
not the
>_only_ one who feels this way upon reading your 'rebuttals'. ON the
contrary: >it
>seems to be a regular habit with you, one you will have to overcome if
you >want
>a _shred_ of credibility in this NG.
The irony here is tragic. You, the king of ad hominem and dishonest
quoting, is talking about MY habits? Have you no shame?
"Stop judging that YOU may not be judged; for with what judgment YOU
are judging, YOU will be judged; and with the measure that YOU are
measuring out, they will measure out to YOU. Why, then, do you look at
the straw in your brother's eye, but do not consider the rafter in
your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Allow me to
extract the straw from your eye'; when, look! a rafter is in your own
eye? Hypocrite! First extract the rafter from your own eye, and then
you will see clearly how to extract the straw from your brother's
eye." (Matthew 7:1-5)
>CT Russell did not start "my" religion.
>Yes, he did.
no he didn't
> Jesus Christ started my
>religion.
>No, He did not.
yes he did so (see how easy it is to do the Matthew Johnson "I know you
are but what am I" strategy?)
>That is no excuse for blatant disregard for the charter of this NG.
read Luke 6:42
>Private REVELATION is forbidden
>No, it is not. You are misquoting Peter.
wasn't quoting Peter
> and THAT is what the trinity is. But on
>the question of "private interpretations" did you read 2 Pet. 1:20?
>Of course he did. And he offered a far more logical interpretation of
it >than you do.
Matthew all you are capable of is diagreeing and contradicting what I
post. It's really immature. There's no substance from you just blanket
denials. Steve didn't even comment on this verse in our posts. This
proves you don't even bother to read the posts you just want to
contradict what I say at any cost because you have a prejudice against
JW. The cost has been your credibility. Thankfully we have a
trinitarian like Bob Felts on this board that balances out your antics.
>But you _do_ add to it, by adding the word 'a' to make John 1:1 read
"a >god"!
(sigh) I can't believe you just made such an ignorant statement.
Actually I can believe it you always do. Koine Greek had no indefenite
artcle but EVERY Bible you can find adds "a" when necessary. Do you
even proof read your posts before you hit "Post"???
There are many other Bible verses where those who translate from the
Greek into another language insert the article "a" before the
predicate noun although there is no article in the Greek text. This
