But what HE has revealed we do know. We know that He does not "secretly"
will the opposite of what He has told us He wills. For example God tells
us 1 Timothy 2:4 who doth will all men to be saved, and to come to the
full knowledge of the truth; AND 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack
concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that
all should come to repentance.
Thus God tells both positively and negatively His will about the
salvation of ALL HUMANS.
And what I meant about Him "secretly" willing something other than He
has said, I was referring to: Isaiah 45:19 I have not spoken in secret,
in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye
me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Thus the Lord tells us specifically that HE DOES NOT SECRETLY will the
opposite of what HE has revealed!

I don't see them quite a "paradoxical" perhaps as you do.
God is just in all His dealings. God Himself would not consider it just
to create people to damn them, where they have no choice in the matter.
This is precisely what Calvinism teaches. They teach that the vast
majority of mankind are punished for the sin of Adam, or rather because
of the sin of Adam. Whereas God says, 2 Kings 14:6 But the children of
the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the
book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The
fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be
put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for
his own sin.
God judging a person for his sins is completely just. And we are all
guilty of sin. Hence He would be just in condemning us all. Further
there is NOTHING in US which deserves His grace and mercy. But there is
something in God which "prompted" Him to have grace and mercy to us who
do not deserve it.
