Luke was not a Gentile. Romans 3:1, 2 states that God entrusted his
inspired utterances to the Jews. Luke is one of those to whom such
inspired utterances were entrusted.

The Scriptures likewise furnish no basis for identifying Luke with the
Lucius mentioned at Acts 13:1 or Paul's 'relative' of the same name referred
to at Romans 16:21.

Peace.

The sinful acts of individuals are not "guided by the spirit" - rather
the Church is the living, breathing Body of Christ (as Paul said), and
in terms of Biblical interpretation it is the witness of the collected
teachings of the church that are true, not the teaching of any individual.

How does a believer know if he's truly being guided by the Spirit or
by demons? After all, the Scriptures themselves call the church "the
pillar and ground of the truth."

If your interpretation differs from that of the church, how do
