I don't mean the average layman. I mean the theologians who followed
them. Like Zwingli departing from both Luther and Calvin on the meaning
of the Lord's supper. Also, many Lutherans did not agree with Luther on
"free will." Further, read about the many pastors who were killed,
excommunicated, and worse, who did not agree with Calvinism, who were
barred from attending the Westminster meeting. Their churches were taken
from them, they were exiled, and some murdered. This is your heritage
from Calvin! Very proud of it I am sure you are.

I agree that they are simultaneous in TIME, but Scripture makes it very
plain that regeneration comes THROUGH faith, and hence logically
regeneration follows faith. The moment one believes one receives
eternal life. BUT and this is the BIG BUT, God says that one must first
believe to become His child. One does not first become His child and
then as a result believe.
John 12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be
the children of light.
Deal with it, Bob Felts. God says the opposite of what you and Calvin
teach.
