You use the word "evidently" as your opinion based upon your Christian
beliefs. But does opinion provide a definitive answer?

intelligence- as > were all the angels.

Then how can you jump to the conclusion that "us" refers solely to
Jesus and not the angels? You use the term "like God" - does that mean
he was not God, as in the Trinity? (I'm not arguing, just trying to
understand your logic).

My opinion also. "Image" having nothing to do whatsoever with physical
attributes, but having everything to do with mental/spiritual
attributes. In other words, I believe God gave humans a soul and that
soul, coming from God, is in the image of God. It makes no difference
what the body looks like since it is just a temporary vessal for the
soul. As a arguing point for this opinion, is a severely deformed
person any less in the image of God than the most beautiful model?? The
souls of both are the same even if the bodys are not.
