Are you admitting, then, that 'faith without works is dead' and that such
workless faith can not save? In other words, there is no salvation without
faith AND works?
That is quite clearly what James says.

There is absolutely no way to know the answer to this question.
Do you think that raising Lazerus from the dead is exactly equivalent
to salvation??

Agreed. In fact the God of scripture is one we can hardly bear to look
at, without being
completely overwhelmed and falling dead at His feet. He is merciful in
revealing Himself
to us a little at a time, because the totality of His presence would
shatter us instantly.
Which makes the idea that we can make adequate legislative sacrifices
to Him or that
He's aligned politically with the Dems or Reps a bit silly.
