The Holy Scriptures in fact supports that Jesus has a beginning and his
Father is his Source of Life. Please don't jump into conclusions.
Please read the Bible verses below.
Jesus has a beginning :
Micah 5:2 proves that Jesus has a beginning. It used the Hebrew word H4163
- mo-tsaw-aw'
God has no ORIGIN nor family descent. The Hebrew word for everlasting
also means “generally time out of mind (past or future)”. In short, Jesus
is eternal but has a beginning not unlike his Father.
John 5:26 - For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has
GRANTED/GIVEN also to the Son to have life in himself.
John 6:57 - “I LIVE(meaning have life) because of the Father.
Rev 3:14 - Of the creation of God, he is the beginning.

You could try and locate a 1611 KJV, as if you have one it is more than
likely the 1769 edition, but not much difference other than style,
typeface, etc.

A good overall response!
As to the original 1611 KJV, however, Thomas Nelson publishers brought
out a reprint some four or five years ago. I assume it is still
available. As the world's largest publisher of Bibles, their catalogs
are on hand at any religious book store.

Steve's point _was_ that no, it does not. But if you look up
the word in Lampe's Lexicon of Patristic Greek, you will
find that _occasionally_ it really does mean
'universal'. But no matter what Roman rumors say, this was a
_rare_ sense of the word before Rome usurped the word and
twisted its meaning.

What _are_ you talking about? First-century Christianity
_was_ Orthodoxy.
