No, it is not.

Christ never taught grace. And He never taught salvation as freely
given—under the definition of 'freely' as Paul defined it. Believe it
or not, Christ actually compared Heaven to a denarius! As payment for
laborers in His vineyard! Paul wouldn't stand for that, I think. But
sometimes Paul said other things. Who knows what Paul really meant?
He may have changed his mind, once or twice.

God will not save us by Paul's singular view of Christ. Fruitless
branches, said Christ, will be pruned and burned (not still unto
salvation, as Paul said). Useless servants who invest nothing will be
shown no mercy; their faith in God notwithstanding. Apparently Paul
didn't care about uselessness. Who knows? Maybe he actually wanted
it. But Christ most certainly did care about it, and the lack of it.

But not everything Paul said was wrong, or he would've been discounted
too easily.

In spite the tone of my response, I'm still appreciative of your
question. Thanks for asking.

I'm not going to go through the posts, but I remember one in
which
you waxed eloquently about your great IQ.

Matthew, for one, got you on it, because you dishonored your
earthly Father in the process.

That was one of the worst posts I've ever read on any
newsgroup.

And speaking of slander, you do it to me and other
non-Calvinists
constantly. In almost every post you make, at least towards
us.

If you do respond as usual, and deny this, I will look up
the post
and post is for all to see again.

Gary
