That is wisdom speaking (which is readily apparent from reading the
whole chapter rather than picking one verse out of the middle). It is
also called "she". Was the Word a "she?" If the world was created
through the Word, then it cannot be talking about the Word, since it
also makes reference to the being spoke of here as being separate from
the Creator. The reference is to two different beings.
