Well, why _don't_ you think it is deceit? It is the NWT Gary was talking about.
The NWT is _infamous_ for being the most tendentious translation of the Bible
into English EVER.
This is not just my opinion, it is the scholarly consensus of many list members
on the textual criticism list, TC-LIST.
Do a search of the archives for their original words. I no longer have a copy.
So yes, deceit and lies it is.

Aha! So you ARE relying on a tendentious translation! No, that is NOT what God
said to Job.
On the contrary: the HEbrew of that passage is maddengly vague. It is quote
plausible to translate it as something quite different. Use google to see.
