Hi George:

To me the objectionable, un-Biblical doctrines of Calvinism
are defined by the acronym TULIP. The T in TULIP stands for Total
Depravity. Now how this is defined matters. Many agree that when
Adam fell, humanity fell with him. And that this fall affects all facets
of man. But the extent to which Calvinism takes T is what is objectionable.

The T for Calvinism means Total Inability. All men are so depraved
that they cannot receive Christ by faith even under the drawing of
God. God MUST first regenerate them, and as a RESULT they
then MUST believe.

This flies in the fact of a multitude of Scriptures which state that
Life, Justification, Begetting, being born again, remission of sins,
and all other aspects of salvation come to us THROUGH faith.

Never is faith said to be the RESULT of being saved.

Gary

Dear Gary,

I am delighted to hear it. Can you please list the evidence you have
in mind?

Perhaps you can tell me what the earliest evidence is of each gospel
- who first quotes from them or mentions them by name? 'Cause see,
Gary, I don't know of that happening till well into the second century.
There were Christians writing before ~ 130 Gary, but none of them
quote or mention our modern
chosen-by-Catholic-priests-in-the-fourth-century gospels. If our
gospels did exist before then Gary, there is not _evidence_ they did.

But go ahead, please list the evidence you have in mind.
