If accepting Yeshua (Salvation) is a necessary choice all must make
(John 3:16-18), and we all have different external, environmental,
nurture and internal differences, biological and aptitude, which
infuence our decision to accept or refuse, then to be a just God who
requires all to accept in order to receive salvation, the external and
internal influences must be able to be put outside the equation for God
to maintain His justice.
Those who go with the predestination theory, say that no one deserves
the grace of God, so if you are pushed more or less by God to make your
choice, He still remains just.
The other camp says, that is not true justice. They would say that the
influence factors are taken into account so that all have the same
amount of +&- factors that go into the equation.
I think both camps agree that a retarded person who cannot mentally
make a decision for Yeshua, still can be saved. And I think they all
agree that even if God has the right to have mercy on who He will have
mercy, for God to send that retarded person to Hell, would be an
injustice.
In John 3:16, YHVH promises that if you believe, you will receive
everlasting life. God does not lie and God is just and God is
unchanging. What He promises, He will do.
He promised to bring Israel back to the land as a nation reborn in one
day. If He is so mighty to do that, He is also mighty to save.
