Well, we do know what God has revealed concerning
His will. God desires all to be saved and none to
perish, hence I would conclude that He not only
would not CAUSE Judas to sin, but as James says,
God doesn't even tempt men to sin. There is no
"darkness" at all in God. God is good, infinitely
good. God so loved the world, (and world is defined
in the gospel of John as being the lost humans in
the world), that He gave His only begotten Son.

Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but
those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for
