Guess it really gets down to what you're reading the Bible for,
doesn't it? The original poster didn't say. The person you're
replying to apparently assumed it was for spiritual reasons, and
you're apparently counter-assuming it was for history and geography.

Speaking of weak, your examples are easily addressed by any decent

You're changing the argument. The unregenerate do respond
to God. Their will is bound, so they have no choice but
to flee.

You haven't, in all these posts, made an argument in support
of free will other than that it seems right to your intuition.
You site verses, but they don't mean what you wish they
meant.
