And irghtly so. Gary's contributions to the NG have been a wonderful
counterweight to the reams of mindless Calvinist propaganda others post.

Then you really haven't been reading. I gave this a long time ago.

If men's minds were not poisoned by the false dogmas of Calvinism, it _would_ be
a simple thing. The first 4 centuries or so of Christianity DID find it "a
simple thing".
But because of the wide and deep prevalence of Calvinistic assumptions in modern
day society -- especially in modern day _American_ society, there is too much
undergrowth that has to be cleared before the good seed of the traditional
CHristian definition can be laid in the reader's mind and bear fruit.

It's funny that you title your post "LOVE GOD", and then the
first sentence is a call to love the world more than God.
We don't love God so that we can change the world. That
makes God into a mere means to an end.

There's no way that someone who places God below the world
has be taught by God. So it turns out that you're the liar.

If the credit is "theirs", then why do you take credit
for pleasing God in the very next sentence.

God hates those who preach salvation by works, which
spits on the sacrifice of Jesus.

And now you want people to seek out those who listen
