Moving away from the controversial issue of the trinity for now....

There seems to be varying opinions on why Jesus had to die in order for
sins to be forgiven. Did he die? If so could each of you kindly explain
why Jesus had to die in order for there to be salvation. Why could God
not simply forgive? What is the ransom?

This has to be the most important doctrine of the Bible and I'm getting
the impression by various comments that most of us have conflicting
views.

It's funny that you title your post "LOVE GOD", and then the
first sentence is a call to love the world more than God.
We don't love God so that we can change the world. That
makes God into a mere means to an end.

There's no way that someone who places God below the world
has be taught by God. So it turns out that you're the liar.

If the credit is "theirs", then why do you take credit
for pleasing God in the very next sentence.

God hates those who preach salvation by works, which
spits on the sacrifice of Jesus.

And now you want people to seek out those who listen
to demons? False prophets will get their reward.
