Here are a few more questions. Who were ransomed? What was the ransom
that was paid? Who paid the ransom? Who received the ransom that was
paid? What did the one who received the ransom do with it?

How does one take the sin of one person and put it on another person or
goat?

There are problems with the illustrations that people use to explain
why Jesus died and what that death accomplished. I have not been able
to answer any of your questions, but I thought I could add a few.
