I'm GLAD you asked!
In a verse preceding your quote, in Luk 18:19, a 'Christ' is reported
to have said, "And Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? None is
good except One, God." Christ is not recorded to have repeated such a
thought; except in that story, which is also in Matthew & Mark.
But a pharisee would think _very_ similar to what was said.
So there's a verse preceding the one you quote by another in which
'Christ' says he is NOT Good. Logically, therefore, that entire
passage is likewise questionable.
