It's a standard point of view. An outline is that since the
canon was closed with the death of the last apostle (St. John)
there can be no more revelations from God. So anything else
which claims to be a revelation must be false. If the
"prophet" is not delusional or just plain lying, then the
only remaining sorce is demonic. And Scripture shows that
Satan practices just this sort of deception.
