I am _so_ glad you asked that question, 'tuppence'. For Bart has given a verse,
but insists on a questionable sense of the preposition 'by' in that verse. And
without that verse, he can have NO scriptural proof that "faith comes by/from
hearing alone".

Are you being deliberately obtuse? Your God HAS given man
free will, which some men use to destroy themselves. How is
that different from me giving guns to the men above? At least
I'm finite and I may be ignorant of what the evil man will
do with the gun, but God knows what the evil men will do with
the free will He gives them.

How _can_ you say He's not responsible?

ME??? You're the one who just excused yourself for
making knives that are used to murder.

You soooooooo don't know anything about my doctrine if
you think it makes excuses easy. My doctrine allows for
no excuses at all, even hard ones.

Usually said by someone who thinks he is.
