I think the "JEDP Documentary Hypothesis" contributes a lot to
one's understanding of how the book of Genesis was originally written.
It helps explain many things, not just the number of pairs of animals
that Noah put on the ark.
I see no reason to ascribe any value whatsoever to the Tablet
Hypothesis. I think appropriate response to the Tablet Hypothesis is
the expression, "Horse feathers!"

It is not _I_ who am playing this 'routine'. Do you think we have
forgotten that
it was YOU who was first to call us 'apostates'? I have not.
I never directly called all of you "apostates"

If Jesus is only an angel, then why does he, being also a servant of
God, accept worship?

The "time, times, and a half", mentioned in Daniel's prophecies is a
mysterious phrase that is a key to several other prophecies. Daniel
gives two different numbers representing the period; why? Could the
reason be that it is not meant to be taken literally? Here is a study
that answers this question.

Simile is one type of figure of speech, metaphor is another.
