Since I provided Heb. 11:1, which says "faith is...",
your point A is amply refuted.

No more than you have, by replacing Greek with English.
If you want to quibble about translations, then argue
with someone who cares. My German Bible says

"Es ist aber der Glaube eine gewisse Zuversicht
des, das man hofft, und ein Nichtzweifeln an dem,
das man nicht sieht."

Which clears things up nicely.

Since I teach logic at university, my advice to you
is not to try to beat me at my own game. It's funny
that the contrapositive to the exact statement in YOUR
translation is what I give, and, after you quibble about
the "we", you try to reject this argument on the basis
that it has "we" in it.

The plain fact is, the contrapositive of the statement
in Hebrews completely refutes your assertion. "Conviction of
things seen is not faith". (So it's no surprise that you
try to divert from the point.)

Since I gave a contrapositive, no sensible person
could say there was no logic in my post. If you
can't address the point, then either cede it or
be quiet.
