Well, to be truthful, I have previously just believed what they
said, because even some non-Calvinists seemed to agree with
their common excuse, that Augustine before age 63 was a
"free willer" but then became a non free willer. But George Smith
has published some of Augustines writings where he makes plain
what he means by a loss of "free will," and not only I but most
would agree with him. Augustine just does not believe in the
no free will of Calvinism.

As Will Rogers said, "We are all ignorant, only on different subjects."

They might indeed. Mine differs with yours only slightly. For I too agree that
those 'quizzes' are worse than useless. But my judgment of them is somewhat
harsher than yours. The quizzes do NOT encourage true Bible knowledge, they only
encourage a knowledge of trivia. They even discourage true Bible wisdom.

As for posting "things that people think might be interesting to read", that is
not always bad. Sure, there are wicked people who use such posts as a way to
spread terrible heresies, but there are others who use such posts to _start_ a
discussion. And every great now and then, the discussion started actually turns
out to be interesting.
