No. Readying your reply is YOUR duty.

>Q. EN ARCH HN O LOGOS

>My Answer :

> Again, nowhere in this phrase (In the beginning was the Word) , can you
>find 'from everlasting, having no beginning'.

Again, that is not true. It IS in this phrase. It is implied by the
choice of the imperfect HN, instead of the aorist EGENETO.

> That is your own conclusion.

No, it is not "my own conclusion". It is the conlusion of the highly
educated native speakers of Koine Greek whose commentary is preserved
in the writings of the Fathers, such as St. Basil the Great.

>The phrase, (In the beginning was the Word), is only stating the fact
>the Word was there in the beginning.

No, it is stating more than that. It is stating that he _already_
was. But since all things that were created, were created through Him,
this in turn implies that the Word is uncreated. But who is uncreated
besides the Creator, God? NO ONE.

> You are right that the Word was there before everything was created.

Finally, you admit this. Now if only you would realize what it means!

>This also agrees in Proverbs 8:22-30, where in verse 23 it states ´23
>From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times
>earlier than the earth,' and so on.

But you are making a rash assumption here: that the 'wisdom' referred
to here is Christ Himself.

>You can’t admit that the personified wisdom here is Jesus,

It is NOT a question of 'admitting', unless you want to admit that you
have not done your homework; you have not done the necessary work to
establish that the author _is_ referring to the same Wisdom of God.

>eventhough 1 Cor 1:24 stated directly that the Wisdom of God is Jesus
>Christ.

No, that does not prove it. For 'Wisdom' is a very flexible word.

>Prov 8:22 states that God himself produced/possessed/create
>(kaw-naw') this Wisdom (Jesus) as the beginning of his way, before
>his works of old.

Make up your mind: which is it? Is it 'possessed' or 'created'?

> Please ask yourself, who is the personification of the wisdom of God
>in 1 Cor 1:24?

No, it is not. Next question?

> And isn’t it that Prov 8 also talks about a personification of
>wisdom of God?

Well, one _could_ read it that way, but thene there is NO guarantee
that it is the SAME personification.

Most of us, however, prefer to read 1 Cor 1:24 as rather more literal
-- too literal to be called a 'personification'.

>Now, the phrase 'In the beginning was the Word' can be best explained

But not by YOUR 'illustration', whic
