In article <074.31.15.05.401011000@srcbs.org>, basicallyblues says...
>
>>Worshipping Him as God is _not_ idolatry. Denying Him that honor is
>>violating
>>the command of ALmighty God Himself, though. Recall John 5:23
>
>oh puh-lease. John 5:23 says nothing of the kind.

Yes, it does. How could you miss it? Could it be because you do not
know what 'honor' means? Your breezy scoffing leads me to believe that
this in indeed your problem.

> You are reading too much into that verse.

No, rather, it is you who do not read enough of what is there.

> By the way, why did Jesus call the Father the
>"only true God" at John 17:3?

Because as God they are one, so that they are the same only true God.
Cf. 1 John 5:20

>>No, you do not worship the same God Jesus worshipped. For Jesus
>>worshipped the Trinity. But you claim the Trinity is pagan. So no, not
>the .same at all, despite your pretence.
>
>You haven't offered anything but substance here.

That is right. Whereas you have offered no substance at all.

> If you want to believe
>such a ridiculous claim as above feel free.

It is your claim that I find ridiculous.

> You're too subjective and
>emotionally attached to the trinity to think objectively.

And you are too objective and emotionally attached to anti-trinitarian
propaganda to think objectively.

> You have read
>too many trnity books and not enough of the Bible.

If you read it right, you would realize that the Bible IS a 'trinity
book'.

> I will leave you
>with this one more time.
>
>After Jesus was resurrected back to heaven and sitting at the "right
>hand of God" he calls YHWH "my God" four times at Revelation 3:2,12.
>Jesus worships his Father as the "only trueGod", why don't you?

I refuse to answer leading questions.

>>It was not the Holy Spirit who taught you to deny the Divinity of
>Christ.
>
>I need not deny something that isn't real.

But you are denying what is very real.

> I simply don't accpet that
>lie.

It is what you _do_ accept that is the lie.

> I think Jesus was "divine" by the way..he isn't Almighty God
>though.
>
>>But one person of the Trinity, Christ, has both a human will and a
>>divine
>
>unBiblical philosophy and sophistry.

Another lie. It is neither unbiblical nor sophistry.

> Jesus was 100% man on earth before
>his resurrection. He had to be in order to be the "last Adam" (1 Cor.
>15:45)

And that is why we have always said: Jesus Christ is fully God and
fully Man. Or, IWOW, consubstantial to the Father in His divinity,
consubstantial to us in His humanity.
