Then we get to the actual response regarding Hyppolytus:

There you have it. A prime example of an tendentious zealot and his
attempts to protect his own private pet interpretations.

Matthew, because it doesn't agree with his wacky assertions, you claim
it is "obviously a corrupt text". Sorry but you are flailing.
Hyppolytus does NOT say all existing things were created later either.
You are simply trying to keep a sinking ship afloat here.

The words of Hippolytus:

"Therefore this solitary and supreme Deity, by an exercise of
reflection, brought forth the LOGOS FIRST. . . Him alone He produced
from existing things; for the Father Himself constituted existence, and
THE BEING BORN FROM HIM was the cause of all things that are produced.
The Logos was in the Father Himself, bearing the will of His
progenitor, and not being unacquainted with the mind of the Father. For
simultaneously with His procession from His Progenitor, inasmuch as He
is this PROGENITOR'S FIRST -BORN, he has, as a voice in Himself, the
ideas conceived in the Father. And so it was, that when the Father
ordered the world to come into existence, the Logos one by one
completed
each object of creation, thus pleasing God. . . . "

At least you're clear here: You think that man must work
his way into heaven. St. Paul says otherwise and if you
gainsay him, you gainsay Scripture. End of story.

Christ's appointed apostle is not "only".
