You both are wrong. This illustrates national Israel. The church is
no where in the context. This corresponds with the Pauline statements
in Rom 9:8. Only via principlization can we find *application* to the
Church. However, I agree that there is a distinction between church
and Church. In that I agree with Bob. There are no unbelivers or
"tares" who are ever "in Christ."

WHO IS JESUS?
Who is Jesus? Is he part of a Trinity? Is he the Almighty God?
To answer these questions, we need to know :
What is the Trinity ? It is the belief that the Father , Son, Holy Spirit
are all but one GOD. And they are all Co-equal and Co-Eternal.
Did Jesus say that he is co-equal with GOD?
In John 14:28, he said, “The Father is GREATER (THEREFORE NOT EQUAL)
than I am”. Hebrews 6:13 said that God could not swear by anyone
GREATER, he swore by himself . So it is obvious here that there is no one
greater than God and that the true God here is not Jesus because someone
is greater than Jesus. After Jesus’ ascension to heaven, he is still a
subject to the Father. Look at 1 Corinthians 15:27-28.
