That's not called for.

Why, just today, on cnn.com, there was an article about a high official
in the Boy Scouts who was caught with child pornography on his computer.

My dad was an Eagle Scout, I'm an Eagle Scout, and my two sons are
Eagles. Does that make us all pedophiles? Are all Catholics to be
lumped in with some of their priests?

You can't paint the many with such a wide brush.

In this particular case, people may not gain a better understanding of the
text but at least a better understanding of their lack of understanding of
the text. Considering just one translation might induce a wrong
understanding, considering multiple translations then shows one should
better not rely on a literal understanding of the first translation.

Bob my response is now online. Please view it above.

I also believe that Jesus died for me. Most people
don't think that way either. Another pointless post
by Gary.
