Prayer is a powerful and necessary tool in our everyday spirtual life. In the most simple of terms prayer is simple a child talking to his father. However, it's this simple communications that can unlock the floodgates in our lives.
Prayer brings the power of God into our lives. Prayer is one of the ways God is able to work in our lives and the lives of those around us. We can freely bring all of our concerns, our thoughts and desires, our hurts and our needs to Him, knowing that He is our loving Father, who wants to hear from us.
Matthew 21:22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Praying together
Christians pray alone, pray in large groups and pray for each other. However, most christians find the most powerful prayer to be in small groups. Christ encourages us to pray together (Matthew 18:18-20) and no christian should be left without this oppurtunity. Which is why we have set forth to provide a way for every christian to communicate and strengthen thier relationship with God through prayer. Wether it be over the internet, by phone, or from a local church prayer is a powerful tool for our everyday lives.
2 Corinthians 1:11 - He will rescue us because you are helping by praying for us. As a result, many will give thanks to God because so many people's prayers for our safety have been answered. (NLT)
